Anthony Owens, as Founder & CEO of Gideon, exemplifies seasoned leadership with a distinguished background in both military and corporate environments. Leveraging his extensive experience in the government, he utilizes his expertise to drive innovation and achieve strategic growth for the company.

Mr. Owens' career began with his enlistment as an infantryman in the United States Marine Corps, where he later commissioned as an officer. He currently serves as a Logistics Officer, contributing his strategic insights to the Marine Innovation Unit. This unit operates globally, leveraging Reserve Component Marine expertise across startups, venture investing, and management consulting, with a focus on emerging “dual-use” technologies.

In 2024, Mr. Owens assumed the role of CEO, taking on a pivotal role in expanding new business with the federal government. Prior to this, he held numerous leadership and technical positions within the federal sector, specializing in engineering, logistics, manufacturing, and program management. His leadership has been instrumental in driving organizational growth and operational excellence.

Mr. Owens holds an MBA from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor, a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Maryland, and an associate degree in Engineering from the College of Southern Maryland. He is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute.

Residing in the metro Detroit area with his son, Anthony Owens leads Gideon with unwavering faith in God, believing that integrity, service, and excellence are the foundation of true leadership. Guided by his faith, he is committed to honoring those who defend our nation by delivering innovative, mission-driven solutions for the federal government. His vision for Gideon is not just about technology—it’s about serving with purpose, upholding strong values, and ensuring that every effort reflects a higher calling.
